Why: To aid Apple users in the Sierra Foothill communities near I-80 and CA-49 to get the most from their systems. We especially invite NOVICES, but also like the participation of intermediate and advanced users.

For info, you may call the administrator, INTELIMAQ at (cell) 530-305-2603 or email: sierragatemug@mac.com OR smug@intelimaq.com.

Bring your questions, a snack and a drink for yourself and maybe a little extra to share with others during our round table discussions. We provide gas and charcoal grills for our Summer BBQs while you bring your own entree to cook.

We meet at a private residence that offers wireless connections to the Internet for high speed updates of your laptop computer. Or bring a list of the updates you need and we can burn a CD or download to a USB drive that you can use for later installation on your home system.

Learn how to effectively use your Mac, iPad, iPhone, iPod and other Apple devices. Learn about iLife,  iWork, Mobile Me, iCloud and many other applications from fellow members. Learn maintenance and troubleshooting techniques from our resident experts. Learn about backup strategies, third-party software, and the availability of shareware and freeware programs from people who actually use them.

MOST OF ALL come to this social gathering of Mac users to enjoy yourself.
